THE TURIYA PHILOSOPHY

Our Philosophy as a Yoga Training Academy

Naturally, we could not separate our philosophy as a yoga training academy from our life philosophy. In one of the greatest writings of yoga, the Patanjali Yoga Sutras, our attitude towards others and the world around us is strengthened by what is called Yamas:

  • Non-violence and truthfulness. For us as a team, it's about being honest and secure in what we communicate and offer to you, as well as what we know and teach. We also offer transparency about where else (or with whom else) you can independently learn and grow after the course. We encourage you to spread your own wings and continue the journey.
  • Not stealing. We value your time very much and promise never to take it for granted. In our yoga teacher training, courses and community, we strive to optimize your experiences. Your investment in personal growth is important to us, which is why we plan each session carefully to make the most of it.
  • Brahmacharya is often only associated with celibacy. But a wise teacher once taught us that it actually means doing everything with a full heart. In this way, every action becomes a devotion to the true self or whatever you may call it. This forms the core of our work and is always our goal.
  • Our actions are not driven by greed. Although we welcome money, prosperity and comfort, they are not the main driving force of our academy. However, we strive for outstanding standards, and quality naturally also requires investments.
